sLORETA (Standardized Low Resolution Brain Electromagnetic Tomography) is a type of neurofeedback that analyzes surface electrical data to determine its original location. In this way, we can train specific regions deep in the brain.

 

For example, this video shows the Limbic system (emotion processing), and uses color to illustrate the electrical amplitudes.
