Do you take insurance?
Like most psychologists, we don’t bill insurance directly. We provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans cover a portion of session fees; call your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
How much will my insurance reimburse?
That depends on your plan. When you call your insurer, it helps to ask about reimbursement for these CPT codes: 90791, 96130, 96131, 96136, 96137 (assessment and report writing); 90876 or 90901 (biofeedback and neurofeedback treatment); and 90832 or 90837 (30- and 60-minute review sessions).
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically about 60 minutes, including qEEG brain-mapping appointments.
Do you work with children?
Yes — we see patients ages 5 and up, as long as they’re willing to work with us.
Do you treat Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Neurofeedback can help reduce unwanted symptoms that sometimes accompany ASD — such as anxiety, sleep difficulty, or emotional dysregulation. We do not treat or cure autism, and we don’t frame it as something to cure: we embrace neurodiversity, and recognize that differences in brain function reflect the natural diversity of human minds rather than defects.
